Help Yourself

Sometimes around here you just have to help yourself. Andrew is always leaving food around no matter how many times we tell him to pick up after himself. Well, this day Isabelle decided to help herself. We didn't even know she could climb up on the small picnic table.
Yes, that is better all over her face!

She ate the whole thing, then we headed to the tub.

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

After growing up in the north, when it comes to snow I can either take it or leave it. Preferably leave it. When we went home for Christmas this year the kids were really hoping for some snow. But, they ended up seeing more ice then snow!
When we woke up on Monday, Feb. 2nd, it was snowing big beautiful snowflakes and continued all day long. We got about 3". The kids wasted no time in going out to play in it. They each made their own snowman.

Andrew made Mr. Sabers (if you figure out who that is, could you let us know). Everything seems to be Mr. Sabers lately, even his ketchup on his plate! Quite an imagination.

Emilee decided to try to eat hers.

Mason helping out with the shoveling.
OK, I know it may not be a lot of snow, but when it usually melts within the hour, this is a lot.

Cute as a Button

I love this little outfit. It was one of my bargains at a yard sale. It has buttons at the pant cuffs, on the flowers and the collar. She looks like such a big girl in it. I can't wait for the warm weather to get here so I can start my "bargain shopping".

1st Birthday

Where has the time gone? It seems like just
yesterday Isabelle was born.

She enjoyed her pink poodle cake & opening her gifts.

Rubber Ducky

This rubber duck has been a life saver. It just blows up and fits in the tub. The first time we tried to put Isabelle in the big tub she cried and was scared. This has made her feel more secure. The squinty eyes is a new thing. That is what she does now when she sees a camera.

Trying to catch the water.

I don't know who this look was directed at, but I hope it wasn't me.
