Cinnamon rolls.... coupons....and a crazy lady

Ok, I have been coupon shopping for a little over a year now and have snatched several bargains along the way. But today I don't know what came over me. One of our local stores was tripling coupons up to .50, but they have restriction, for every 3 coupons being doubled you have to have $10.00 in sales (before coupons). That's a lot to keep up with. So Emilee and I headed to the store and Briana keep home the little ones. It is much easier without Belle standing up in the cart and Andrew taking off in every direction. It was on our way home it hit me, "why did i just buy 12 cans of cinnamon rolls?" Yes, they were only .25 a can, but did we need 12 cans? You have to be careful, coupon shopping can pull you in just like anything else. I'm sure that is what the retailers and manufacturers are counting on.

I wonder what we should have for breakfast tomorrow : )

Princess Isabelle's 2nd Birthday

For Isabelle's birthday we invited a couple from church over and their 7 mo. old daughter Audrey. When Isabelle says it it sounds like aunry, which descibes her better " ornery". For dinner we had chicken, mashed potaotes, spicy corn, green beans, and rolls. Then we had cake and ice cream, of course her cake was pink with a tiarra topper. This year was fun watching her open her gifts and see the excitement on her face.

She didn't really want to share with Audrey, at one piont she was laying down with all the pieces under her belly.
She also got a car to go with the house, Briana got her an outfit and a new pair of pink shoes. Have I mentioned she loves shoes? Boy am I in trouble.

Dinosaurs... Puppies....& Runaway

Andrew got a dinosaur egg in his stocking that you hatch in water. So, he filled a tall glass with water and watched it every hour. He even brought in his larger dinosaur to be the mom and watch over the egg. When he woke up the next day it had finally started to crack open. He couldn't wait for it to hatch. When it's head popped out of the shell he wanted to know what he should feed it, oh no! that's when I realized he thought it was real. I guess he could tell something was up by my expression and I gentle told him that it didn't need to eat. He just calmly said "it isn't real is it?" so sweet.

Andrew has been wanting a dog for some time and Ted keeps telling him "NO". He even went around asking everyone if they had a puppy when they were little. I found an ad for two Yorkie's and called Ted to see what he would say about one of them. He actually agreed as long as the kids took care of it. When talking to the owner they said they just hated to seperate them, so we ended up with both of them. We left Andrew home when we went to get them so we could surprise him. He was surprised but later said he really wanted a Dalmation!!
Here's Molly & Annie, Molly is hyper and Annie is calm. I had said no sitting on the furniture. Their first night here, Ted let them sit on the couch beside him all evening. After having them run all over the living room, I remember why I didn't have any house pets, I don't like house pets. I hope I can endure.

Finally... My Little runaway. Andrew is very tender hearted. He's very stubborn, but also tender hearted. Well, on Tuesday 5th, he got his feelings hurt and decided he was going to run away. Mason & Emilee let me know he was packing a bag. I just let him, you know they never really run away, do they? He went outside and took the long way around the car and down the drive. When he got to the end of the drive he turned around and waved real big and was just sobbing. It broke my heart. He then turned around and started to walk, I realized I better get out there and stop him. I don't know where he was going to go, but I couldn't let him walk down the road. When I got to him, he said he was going to his friend Austins house. I had to explain to him that we all loved him and would miss him very much. I got him to come back in the house and put his things away. So, for now he is staying with us, but the next day he was mad because he had to pick up his toys and said he was running away again. I let him know that we are a family and everyone had things they had to do around the house, that was a house rule. Is this a ploy to get attention and not have to clean up his things or does he really feel this way?
