Resurrection Rolls

We made resurrection rolls this morning to help explain the death, burial and resurrection of Christ to the kids. Isabelle is rolling the marshmellows in butter to represent the oils used for embalming, then Andrew rolled them in cinnamon sugar to represent the spices used. Emilee then sealed them in crescent rolls to represent the cloths used to wrap Jesus' body in, then we put them in the oven (tomb) to bake.

When we rolled the stone away & took them out, they were empty on the inside to show that Christ had risen.

Cool visual and they were good too!
Happy Easter!
